| Hand-painted wooden Saint Haralambos icon on a golden background with a sterling silver border. St. Haralambos was a priest in the city of Magnesia, near Smyrna in Asia Minor. He is famous for converting many pagans to Christianity, and was martyred at the age of 113. He is considered to be the protector of the shepherds and their flocks. In the icon he is shown wearing dark colored garment with crosses and holding the Holy Bible. |
