Large stone wall fragment depicts the weighing of the heart ceremony. Anubis, the jackal-headed patron God of embalming who presided over mummification and accompanied the dead to the hereafter, leads the deceased to the scale of justice with Thoth, god of wisdom and Ammit, a funerary deity, observing. Horus Behdety, a symbol of protection, above. Raised Egyptian symbols on the top. Light earthen patina. New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty.
