Limestone rectangular coffin with a removable lid and a removable mummy form with incised hieroglyphs on the inside. The coffin has raised and incised Egyptian figures and symbols including: An Eye of Horus, the ancient Egyptian symbol of protection; Horus, the falcon-headed Egyptian sky God; A winged Isis, protective Goddess who used magic spells to help people in need, the wife of Osiris and the mother of Horus; A baboon, the sacred animal of Thoth, the Egyptian God of wisdom; Egyptian rulers, goddesses and hieroglyphs. The removable lid has a reclining Anubis, the jackal-headed patron God of embalming who presided over mummification and accompanied the dead to the hereafter, a cartouche with a beetle and incised hieroglyphs.
