Lot of 3: Phonician light gray glass bearded long and narrow face pendant with black and red features. Made from fused pieces of glass. Wearable. 400-200 BC ( 1 ¾" x ¾"); Egyptian carved light green limestone heart scarab with a winged beetle and the sun God Ra holding an ankh to the top and hieroglyphs to the bottom. Some were worn by the deceased on a necklace, or mounted in gold settings as a pectoral. Heart scarabs provided the bearer with the assurance that at the final judgment as depicted in the Book of the Dead, the bearer would be found "True of Voice" and accepted into the eternal afterlife by the God Osiris. 18th Dynasty. 1570-1342 BC ( 3 ¼" x 2 ¼" ); Persian single rectangular ceramic tile with a hand-painted scene of a male figure in traditional garb and holding an axe like instrument over one shoulder. Heavy crackle glaze in earth tones. Mid 1800's AD ( 7 ½" x 5 ½")
