Lot of 3: Roman hollow terracotta Goddess bust with fine facial features, wearing a helmet and decorated armor on the chest. 200 AD (5" x 7 ¼"); Egyptian carved green soapstone prayer staff with hieroglyphs including a cartouche, used to pray against evil. Bes, the Egyptian dwarf God believed to guard against evil spirits and misfortune, at the top of the staff. Ptolemaic. 305-30 BC ( 6 ½" x 2 ¼" ); Bronze Kheiron statue with a bow and arrow, the immortal son of the Titan Kronos and a half-brother of Zeus. Kheiron mentored many of the great heroes, including Jason and Akhilleus. The Kentauros, once accidentally wounded by Herakles with a Hydra-venom-coated arrow, was unable to endure the pain and voluntarily relinquished his immortality and died. In recompense he was given a place among the stars of heaven as the Constellation Sagittarius. 200 BC ( 1 ½" x 1 ¾" )
