On September 6, 1622 the Spanish Treasure Ship, The Atocha was caught in a hurricane and smashed against coral reefs off Key West. Her treasure of gold, silver, and gems lay beneath the waves for 360 years until their recovery by legendary Treasure Hunter Mel Fisher. 1622 AD (1 ¼"); Persian pure silver ring with raised decorative designs, a red glass stone as the central setting. 1500's AD (Size 9); Egyptian carved limestone winged scarab, hieroglyphs on the bottom. Holes for attachment. Third Intermediate Period. 1070-712 BC (6 ½" x 2 ¼")
